One thing I’ve always loved is getting film back from the developer. Although, I mostly shoot digital now, I still shoot film from time to time. The “drugstore” 1hr photo labs and send-out places have really gone down hill, so I tend to accumulated a lot of rolls of film to be processed. So, recently when I had some extra money I sent 20 rolls out to a mail-in developing place. One of the rolls was blank, but other than that they turned out all right. Here are some scans from the prints I got back. These were taken in 2012-14, and I didn’t edit the scans other than resizing, so they can be viewed how the really look, washed out or too dark, just like pictures old point-and-shoot 35mm cameras actually produce.
