North 20th Street Bridge: 2017

Here are some before (Feb 2017), during (May 2017), and after (Nov 2017) photos of the replacement of the North Twentieth Street Bridge. Only the pillars remain, the decking and street were replaced and raised slightly to allow for new railroad clearance standards. The original bridge was erected in 1975 on what was then the Penn Central mainline just west of the PC Richmond Yard. The news clipping is from the Pal Item, June 6, 1975, retrieved from newspapers dot com. A few highlights are a blue “Punk” old school piece with a red outline from the 1990s, and forgotten Mono and Arso beef from 2003ish.
