Gondolas are my favorite cars to catch. There’s a lot of history on a rusted gon. Nothing beats a winter gondola train.

One thing I’ve always loved is getting film back from the developer. Although, I mostly shoot digital now, I still shoot film from time to time. The “drugstore” 1hr photo labs and send-out places have really gone down hill, so I tend to accumulated a lot of rolls of film to be processed. So, recently when I had some extra money I sent 20 rolls out to a mail-in developing place. One of the rolls was blank, but other than that they turned out all right. Here are some scans from the prints I got back. These were taken in 2012-14, and I didn’t edit the scans other than resizing, so they can be viewed how the really look, washed out or too dark, just like pictures old point-and-shoot 35mm cameras actually produce.

I recently looked through some older digital picture folders from 2012-2013, and found some so called “deep-cuts”. Here is a selection of digital flicks never released.

This Kwiz piece from 1995 is still running today in 2021. For my original post on this piece see https://richmondindgraffiti.com/2020/06/28/kwiz-journey/

Nothing beats black & white fill-ins in a drainage tunnel.

Del, if I’m reading the letters right, was an early/mid 90s writer that had several fill-ins around town including on an abandoned K-Mart on the east-side that was very visible from the road which blew my mind. The first photo you can also see an SK outline by Seek.

I’ve been digging through old photos again lately. Here are more scans of old 35mm film prints.

Every weekend I am out waiting for trains to roll by. Winter is a good time to bench. Here are some more recent catches.
