Richmond Gas Co

This long standing, but now demolished building was just North East of the old Main Street Bridge. According to the IHSSI County Survey of 2001, it was built around 1855. It was originally part of the Richmond Gas Company, much later a “Haunted House”, then long abandoned and demolished in 2009/2010 after a local teenager fell through the roof from the still existing C&O railroad trestle. There was a little graff on the main building, including, what I always thought read “Kuff,” but it may actually be “Puff,” and it has a “Dank” tag next to it, from the mid/late 90s. There was also a blue “Dark” tag from a few years later on the overhead door. A very small mini-piece, in two colors by Kwiz was on the back.
