Life stages of a SUFR piece under the now demolished bridge circa around 2010 and demolished in 2013. Last photo is a photoshopped splice of before and after. There was an Anx character to the right of this piece as well.

More photos of the bridge before it gets replaced. I don’t know if the abutments will remain or how they are going to do it as there is no real public info about this project. Trains continue to use the bridge during the project, but rail traffic seems to be way down. These photos are from late December 2025 through early January 2026.

Dumpster tags, alleys, bridges, and misc. Also, RIP Erie.

The South 9th Street bridge, circa 1915, over the former C&O Railroad, which later became CSX, and in 2005 leased by the shortline Indiana Eastern Railroad, was demolished in Sept-Nov 2013. There was a good amount of local graffiti history on it, including more recent pieces at the time. Here are some before, during, and after photos.

Partially dissed mural production by unknown writer from maybe from circa 2003-05. The Johnny Cash tribute gives a clue on the date. I heard this was done by a college student, but at the time I didn’t pay attention to legal graffiti really. This may have been the first legal production in town. Some of this mural is still running today. Some photos from 2012 of a dissed-Sufr tribute by Rot with a handwritten “thank you” letter. Anx by Sufr from 2013. Sufr piece from July 2003 and a birthday piece for Danime.

Old railroad signage and still present cast iron manhole covers. Photos are from 2013-2026.

Here are some before (Feb 2017), during (May 2017), and after (Nov 2017) photos of the replacement of the North Twentieth Street Bridge. Only the pillars remain, the decking and street were replaced and raised slightly to allow for new railroad clearance standards. The original bridge was erected in 1975 on what was then the Penn Central mainline just west of the PC Richmond Yard. The news clipping is from the Pal Item, June 6, 1975, retrieved from newspapers dot com. A few highlights are a blue “Punk” old school piece with a red outline from the 1990s, and forgotten Mono and Arso beef from 2003ish.

Here are some past photos of the historic railroad bridge that is now in the process of being replaced. Photos are from 2013 – 2020.

Some digital photos from 1/26/2013, plus some extras. Highlights: visible Seek bomb from the 1990s, old Esoes and Muk, Sufr streak from 2006 covered, Kwiz outline with crown. Photos 1-15: 2013. 16. King Kwiz from the 90s, scanned print from 2008ish, 17-21: old Esoes, still there Dec 2023, Seek still there in 2016, Eso Muk remains 2020.
