We were able to put together a solid production on a local wall with artists from Richmond, Dayton, and Indianapolis, at the same spot where I’ve been benching trains for 25 years. Like many Midwestern cities we have a Railroad Street, although it is unmarked. The concept for the mural was to give a shout-out to the railroad workers from the past to the present, and also pay homage to the moniker kings of the freights. The Quaker City Co-op, which occupies the building, as well as ART (Architectural Restoration Technique), provided funds for paint and supplies and primed the wall.

Scanned prints of SUFR and NURO silvers from 2002. These faded to nothing pretty quickly.

Rebuilding bridges, creating bike lanes, and repaving streets in Richmond. While other things continue to hold up and on.
